Public Recycling Drop-Off Changes

The Public Recycling Drop-Off has made some changes to protect staff and the public during this time. Plastic film/plastic bags, e waste, batteries, scrap metal, and donations for the free store ARE NOT being taken at this time. Recyclables from households where anyone has tested positive for COVID-19 or has symptoms (cough or fever) are not being accepted either.

If there is not a bin for something, it is because it is not currently being accepted, so please do not leave it on the ground or anywhere else.

Additionally, the individual bins were replaced with larger dumpsters, so the public has minimal contact with opening lids. The cardboard compactor was also replaced with a dumpster because the compactor required staff to handle materials daily. We are also encouraging people to go on week days if possible. There is a lot of traffic on weekends, and the bins can become overloaded. Thank you!
